The hotel had a mixed experience with clean, comfortable rooms, and very friendly service. The location was great, but the dining had its setbacks. Overall, it was a decent stay with some highlights and drawbacks.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, quiet, and modern with plenty of space. It was peaceful once we got back from the Harborview Restaurant and great in the morning to wake up to. We had a few cockatoo visitors on our balcony, which was actually lovely.

The service was amazingly helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. The staff were friendly, courteous, and the rooms were lovely and clean.

The location was good, with a super ocean view from the room. A public bus stop outside and good access by car to areas of interest. It was literally across the road from the beach and very close to the beach front at North Wollongong that you could hear the waves hitting the sand.

The stay at Novotel was a mixed experience. On the positive side, we appreciated the room upgrade and friendly service along with comfortable accommodations and a varied breakfast selection. However, the supposed ocean view was mostly obstructed by a nearby rooftop, and dealing with rowdy neighbors was a downside.

I stayed at the hotel and found it to be a great spot, overlooking the beach and boasting spacious rooms with very comfortable beds. The friendly and approachable staff provided amazing service, although the location and dining options needed a bit of a spruce up.
